IN says 'bye'bye' to democracy this morning

Just disgusting.

It took six minutes and 25 seconds for House Republicans to ram their beloved right-to-work-for-less bill through a House committee this morning. No debate, no amendments.

That is NOT what democracy looks like.

Teamsters and other union members crowded the halls of the Statehouse as the dastardly deed was done. Write the D's:
The message is clear. They just won't listen but today The House Republicans REALLY didn't want to hear any dissent this morning on Right to Work. Zero amendments and absolutely no debate. They conducted business including a vote on "..the most controversial bill in a generation" in 6 minutes and 25 seconds.
Jerry Torr even admitted, "We already know how everyone is going to vote."
In the words of a very wise Clyde Kersey, "The lights of democracy just went out at the Indiana Statehouse."
All Hoosiers are asked to call House Republicans to tell them to vote with working families and against avaricious corporations. The number is 1-800-382-9842. If you don't know who your lawmaker is, just call that number and ask.

Tonight, corporate stooge Gov. Mitch Daniels gives his Snake State-of-the-State address as Teamsters trucks circle the Capitol (drown him out, brothers!). Hundreds of Teamsters will rally against this hideous attack on democracy and on the middle class. We'll keep you posted.
