We were afraid this would happen. Earlier this year, extremist lawmakers in Indiana agreed to take a right-to-work bill to destroy unions off the table after Assembly Democrats fled the state for 38 days. Indiana Teamsters supported them by rallying at the Capitol every day. Unfortunately, right to work to kill unions is rearing its ugly head again in Indiana.
There's a meeting on July 26 of the Interim Study Committee on Employment Issues to discuss it.
You can read the meeting notice here.
Indiana families have been losing ground over the past few years. Median family income fell five percent from 2008 to 2010. Guess Indiana's radical lawmakers want to see it fall even more.
Hoosiers, get your protest on.
