Here's a statistic that will blow your mind

According to a little-noticed report from the Social Security Administration on Oct. 15, half of all wage earners in America made less than $26,261 in 2009. That's slightly above the poverty level ($22,050) for a family of four.

Think about it. Nearly half of all working Americans are poor.

Some are really poor. According to the Economic Populist,
...over 16% of Americans didn't even make $5000 dollars last year and in fact this group averaged $2016 for an entire year?
This is what happens after years of corporate attacks on workers wages. This is the result of outsourcing, offshoring, misclassifying, wage-thieving, union-busting and downsizing.

The middle class isn't being destroyed. It's already been destroyed.
