WI GOPer signs no tax pledge. Hasn't paid taxes in 3 years

In a remarkable act of shamelessness, Dave VanderLeest today signed a pledge that he wouldn't raise taxes if he beats our Teamster brother Dave Hansen in the Senate election on Tuesday.

Hard to see why VanderLeest cares. He hasn't paid his property taxes for three years.

According to the Green Bay Press Gazette, VanderLeest
...signed a pledge Thursday morning outside the Brown County Courthouse that he would not increase taxes if elected to the state Senate.
“Now if I get to Madison and I flip-flop, it’s public record,” VanderLeest said. “The people can hold me accountable.”

VanderLeest also indicated he did not want to discuss his legal and financial problems that have become the subject of multiple television ads from liberal groups. VanderLeest hasn’t paid property taxes in three years, plead no contest to two misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges related to allegations of domestic abuse and has a bankruptcy, home foreclosure and unpaid settlement from 2006.
