Kasich 'fine' with Grannygate

The anti-worker folks who support SB5 in Ohio actually stooped this low: They edited video footage (gee, where have we heard that before?) to make it seem that a great-grandmother supported the anti-worker, anti-union SB5.

She most certainly did not.

Now, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer,
...more than two dozen television stations serving the Ohio market, including two in Cincinnati, pulled the controversial ad produced for Building A Better Ohio, the Republican- and business-dominated group that supports SB 5.
Corporate stooge Ohio Gov. John Kasich says he doesn't mind that his allies were caught in a transparent lie. Reports the Columbus Dispatch,
Gov. John Kasich, the main pitchman for Building a Better Ohio, said he doesn’t “run the campaign,” but “what they’re doing is fine.”
“The ads and literature out there supporting Issue 2’s been based on facts,” Kasich told reporters after a speech to the Independent Insurance Agents of Ohio meeting.
Rii-i-i-ight.

We're assuming, by the way, that the pro-SB5 group, "Building a Better Ohio," isn't accepting any money from the Benedict Arnold Koch brothers. "Building a Better Ohio" is, after all, a patriotic American organization that wouldn't take money from people who profit from the sale of oil equipment to Iran. Would it?

We're quite certain that We Are Ohio, the anti-SB5 group, isn't getting any Koch money.
