Here is what we union thugs do in VT

We help hurricane victims.
Teamsters recently transported 40,000 pounds of fresh drinking water from Michigan to Vermont.
The residents of Bennington and the village of Woodford, Vt., were left without water after Hurricane Irene took out their water filtration plant and broke a main later line. That’s when Michigan Teamsters volunteered to bring fresh water to the communities. Bennington Police Lt. Lloyd Dean said,
There were a lot of people affected by the hurricane. It was the worst critical incident I’ve been part of in my 29 years with the police department. We thank the Teamsters very much for all your help.
Ron Holzgen, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 406 in Grand Rapids, Mich., coordinated the delivery. Country Fresh, a Teamster employer, agreed to donate water supplies if Local 406 would provide the truck for the drive to Vermont. Holzgen said:
We represent members at Star Truck Lines and we got them to contribute $250, then UPS and Spartan Stores each gave $250. This was a coordinated project with the Teamsters and companies working together for a good cause.
Terry Hoogerhyde, a 34-year driver for Spartan Stores in Grand Rapids and a member of Local 406, drove the Teamster truck for the 14-hour drive to Vermont. He said,
We were glad to help. We all worked together to help people in need.
