Rally and Recall in Milwaukee

After this weekend's monster rally in Madison, community groups are continuing to turn out and rally for workers' rights. More than 1,000 workers, students and others came out to the "Rally for Our University and Our Community!" on Monday at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Tom Bennett, president of Teamsters Local 200 in Milwaukee was there, and had this to say:
The support was impressive. There were students, community members, labor leaders and two of the Fab 14, Sen. Lena Taylor and Sen. Chris Larson. The rally was very well organized, with the message of the April 5, 2011, elections in the state and the replacement of picket signs and chants for boots on the ground with clipboards and petitions to recall the Wisconsin Republican 8!
If you live in the Badger State, here's a list of recall offices. These are offices that will be open for the duration of the recall. You can stop in 7 days a week from 9am – 9pm to sign petitions, canvass and volunteer.
