You can tell the govt what you think of Mexican trucks

...but try to keep it clean.

Here's what's going to happen: In a few weeks, the Department of Transportation will announce in the Federal Register its plans to open the border to dangerous Mexican trucks.

The Federal Register's website says
Federal agencies are required to publish notices of proposed rulemaking in the Federal Register to enable citizens to participate in the decision making process of the Government.
Get out your ink pens and charge up your cell phones, boys and girls. The Federal Register says
...agencies must list the name and telephone number of a person to contact for further information...
You (yes, you) will have 30, 60 or 90 days to write (or email) exactly what you think about the plan. We'll let you know when we find out how much time we get.

The government then has to read through all the comments and respond in writing to major concerns.
Any reason why 1.4 million Teamsters can't comment on this insane proposal?

In the meantime, feel free to call your representatives in Congress to tell them what you think of opening the border to dangerous Mexican trucks.

But try to keep it clean.
