The Wisconsin Assembly on Thursday approved a Republican bill curbing collective bargaining rights of public sector unions, sending the measure to Governor Scott Walker who promised to sign it as quickly as possible.
The Republican-controlled Assembly's vote followed Senate passage on Wednesday when majority Republicans bypassed a Democratic boycott by stripping unrelated fiscal items out of Walker's budget repair bill.
