VIDEO: Ad up in Wisco tomorrow to oppose anti-worker budget
This just in: The Wisconsin State AFL-CIO is rolling out a television commercial that will start airing Monday. It opposes Gov. Scott Walker's proposal to take away nearly all collective bargaining rights from government workers.
The ad points out that backers of the bill are trying to ram it through the legislature this week “with almost no public input or discussion,” in a bid to silence the voices of mainstream Wisconsinites who think that stripping away people’s individual freedom and rights will not do a thing to create jobs.
And if you're wondering, yes, the Teamsters do represent government workers in Wisconsin.
