As usual, Colbert is hilarious. Here he takes up the Tea Party groups complaining they were singled out by the IRS. It turns out they voluntarily submitted requests for exemption, which is what the IRS was looking at.

Or as Dylan Matthews points out, the flap isn't about paying taxes. It's about revealing the people who gave money to the groups.
