Woo-hoo! Another Teamster organizing victory in Canada!

Let's all give a warm welcome to 22 new Teamster brothers and sisters, owner-operators of Reliable Transport Link in Ontario!  Eighty-five percent of the trucking company's workers voted to join Teamsters Local 938 in Mississauga.

They joined the Teamsters because they want a contract that gives them better pay and better working conditions. They came to the right place!

The company ships containers for CN and CP in Ontario.

Local 938 President Craig McInnes said the workers made the right choice. McInnes said,

We’re pleased with the determination these workers showed during the unionization process.

Negotiations are already underway for a new bargaining agreement.
