We love what Kelly Steele told Talking Points Memo:
We're thankful everyone was able to get out safely and we hope Dan Kapanke doesn't strip the collective bargaining rights of the heroic firefighters who put out the blaze, as he promised to try doing back in FebruaryHanky-Kapanke is considered one of the most vulnerable of the six Republican state senators facing recall on Aug. 9.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire, but the building was a total loss. We learn from We Are Wisconsin:
The La Crosse team showed their tenacity and is an inspiration to our entire campaign as they continue to do the work that will help us in the upcoming elections. Our team continued to launch canvasses on Saturday and Sunday and demonstrated their dedication to the La Crosse community that has continue to support them and the We Are Wisconsin campaign efforts. No one was hurt or injured, but many materials and things inside were destroyed. We Are Wisconsin moves into its new LaCrosse headquarters tomorrow. Tweets @WeRWisconsin:
