NH action: Tell the Speaker to give 48 hrs notice

Our allies in New Hampshire are urging Granite Staters to tell Speaker Bill O'Brien that he MUST give 48-hours notice to call the House of Representations into session.

You'll recall that Gov. John Lynch vetoed the right-to-work bill to destroy unions in New Hampshire. But O'Brien wants to override the veto. Problem is, he didn't have enough votes when the lawmakers convened recently. The fear is that O'Brien will wait until a bunch of right-to-work-supporting representatives are in or near Concord, then he'll call a hasty session. The anti-right-to-workers will be caught flat-footed, outnumbered, and the veto will be overridden.

Here's what to do if you live in New Hampshire: Go to the NH AFL-CIO's website here and follow the instructions.
