Trina Cuppett, an independent tweeter and blogger, has graciously consented to letting us cross-post her blog post from AZModerate Rants. It's about Mitt Romney and China:
A couple of months ago I began tweeting videos of Mitt Romney’s previous campaigns including advertisements that were used against him by previous campaign opponents for his senate race against Ted Kennedy in 1997, his bid as Governor of Massachusetts and videos from the #GOP primaries this year. The main reason I was doing this was to try to get people to understand why his taxes are important and relevant to this election.
Until Harry Reid came out and said Mitt Romney had not paid any taxes in 10 years, the videos were not getting a lot of attention.
Then some surprising happened. Me and some other friends were sent video snippets from a person called AnneOnymous of Mitt Romney’s private fund raising dinner. We began tweeting and re tweeting those videos. Finally, someone else picked up on and was able to reporter David Corn to get the story out. We did not find these video clips by accident on the internet they were sent to us.
When I received the messages from AnneOnymous it was made very clear that there was some possible ‘human rights’ issues that needed our attention and that was the main focus.
What was even more surprising was the fact that the media picked up on the 47% and the fact that Mitt Romney had invested in a Chinese factory for cheap labor but it didn’t seem to go any further.
You see in China they don’t have labor unions to protect the workers. Mitt Romney doesn’t like labor unions anymore than he seems to like the so-called 47%. He bragged in the video as you can see here for yourself about how much they work and about the barbed-wire fence around the factory:
Mitt Romney praises the virtues of cheap female Chinese factory workers at private fundraiser
This morning some of my twitter friends and I received a new link. I urged you to go here to see more information regarding the working and living conditions of these workers that were employed by the Chinese company Mitt Romney was supposed to be referring to:
Click on this link to see the article and PICTURES: Global-Tech: Betting Against American Workers
I urge you to take this matter seriously. So far information about Mitt Romney’s ability to ‘create jobs’ points to job creation in China and not in the U.S. and in addition would you want him creating and promoting working conditions here in the U.S. for you or your family members? The workers he was talking about were young girls. Would you want your daughters, grand-daughters, sisters or nieces subjected to these types of conditions?
Just review the links provided then as a BIG THANK YOU to AnneOnymous share this with a friend because AnneOnymous has shown us all that ONE person can make a huge difference.
One last point – I do not know AnneOnymous or their identity (so don’t ask) because this is not the issue here. The issue here is we have a Presidential candidate that may have been involved in violating basic ‘human rights’. All information points to the fact that he has but you can be the judge of that.
