Ralph Winter, Local 175's secretary-treasurer, welcomed the new members. Winter said,
These workers voted for the Teamsters because they wanted better working conditions, a voice on the job and protections for the benefits they already have.They join nearly 4,000 other members of the Brewery and Soft Drink Workers Conference who also work at Pepsi across the U.S.
