VIDEO: Protesters greet Rick Scott at doughnut shop

This video clip being from Fox, we're not going to see much of the protesters. But at least they're on record! And we get to see Pink Slip Rick in all his glorious incoherence. Yeah, let's "highlight businesses." That's the way to create jobs. Aaaaargh!!!!
We especially like this line from the news reader:
He's working. A lot of Floridians are not.
To be exact, 982,000 Floridians are not working. Florida's unemployment rate is 10.6 percent, higher than the national rate of 9.2 percent.

The Exile on Moan Street blog isn't impressed with Scott's antics, either:
Scott’s ratings are in the basement and this jobs thing just so happens to coincide with a new media campaign clearly trying to clean up Scott’s tarnished reputation, but trying to put a shine on shit is tricky business...shouldn’t Scott try to put the focus on skilled jobs available in Florida ...? For years, the administrations in Tallahassee have been courting the lucrative Biotechnology industry into the state and they have answered the call. Now, there is a need for trained lab techs, jobs available for those trained at the post-secondary certificate, associates, bachelors and higher levels. Florida high school graduates can land good work with just one year of college, but Scott says, “Start at a doughnut shop.”
