VIDEO: WI recall ad up as election nears

The Wisconsin recalls are rapidly approaching, but you'll need to get out your ink pen and a calendar to keep track of them all.

The first batch of elections take place in less than a week, on Tuesday, July 12. These are the primaries in which voters select the Democrats who will run against the six Republican state senators who voted for Koch whore Gov. Scott Walker's bill to destroy government unions. In each Democratic primary, there is a real Democrat and a fake Democrat. The Republicans are running fake Democrats as a dirty tricks campaign in which they try to drain money and energy from the real Democratic challengers.

Here's a rundown of who's running in that first round of primary elections:
  • District 2: Otto Junkermann (fake Dem) vs. Nancy Nusbaum (real Dem); winner faces GOP Senator Cowardly Robert Cowles on August 9th
  • District 8: Gladys Huber (fake Dem) vs. Sandy Pasch (real Dem); winner faces GOP Senator Alberta Not-so-Darling on August 9th
  • District 10: Issac Weix (fake Dem) vs. Shelly Moore (real Dem); winner faces GOP Senator Subsidy Sheila Harsdorf on August 9th
  • District 14: Rol Church (fake Dem) vs. Fred Clark (real Dem); winner faces GOP Senator Lex Luther Olsen on August 9th
  • District 18: John Buckstaff (fake Dem) vs. Jessica King (real Dem); winner faces GOP Senator randy Randy Hopper on August 9th
  • District 32: James Smith (fake Dem) vs. Jennifer Shilling (real Dem); winner faces GOP Senator Dan Hanky-Kapanke on August 9th
Then Tuesday, July 19, is the first recall election. Our Teamster brother state Sen. Dave Hansen of Green Bay faces a petty criminal named David VanderLeest (see video above).

On the same day, there is a set of Republican primaries.
  • District 12: Robert Lussow vs. Kim Simac; winner faces Democratic incumbent Jim Holperin on Aug. 16.
  • District 22: Fred Ekornaas vs. Jonathan Steitz; winner faces Democratic incumbent Robert Wirch on Aug. 16.
TeamsterNation is urging everyone in those districts to vote and to bring along one other person -- family member, neighbor or friend -- to vote too. It has never been more important.
