Ugly, ugly jobs report

This just really sucks. The June jobs report came out and there was nothing good in it. Not one single thing.

There are now 14.1 million Americans officially out of work. Employers hired the fewest number of workers in nine months. The private sector gained 57,000 jobs, while government: lost 39,000 jobs (thank you Rick Scott, Scott Walker, John Kasich and all you other Governors Gone Wild).

The average amount of time that people stay unemployed is 39.9 weeks.

There are many, many economists who will tell you our economic malaise results from the staggering inequality in this country. Unfortunately, our state and federal governments seem hell bent on making inequality worse. And on top of that, Congress is considering three new job-killing trade deals.

It makes you want to hurl.
