Still another Teamster organizing victory

Welcome to 204 new Teamsters in Allentown, Pa.  School bus drivers and monitors with First Student have just voted to become members of Teamsters Local 773

.
Hector Rivera, a driver since 2006, said he wanted to become a Teamster so he and his coworkers would be treated fairly and treated with respect. “We also deserve fair wages for the hard work we do everyday taking children to and from school.”

Nearly 30,000 drivers, monitors, aides, mechanics and attendants have become Teamsters since 2006. The Teamsters are running a national campaign to improve safety, service and work standards in the private school bus and transit industry.
